The 2015 Vault Guide announced on July 15 that Ropes & Gray was ranked #1 for overall diversity among U.S. law firms and ranked in the top five in every diversity-related category.  This is the sixth year in a row that Ropes & Gray has ranked in the top five for overall diversity.

Ropes & Gray had a strong showing in the individual diversity categories, ranking:

#1 for diversity for individuals with disabilities

#2 for diversity for LGBT

#2 for diversity for veterans (a new category for 2015)

#3 for diversity for minorities

#5 for diversity for women

The firm also was recognized for its quality of life and training programs in multiple other categories announced over the past month, including being ranked #2 overall as “Best Law Firm to Work For”—the sixth straight year Ropes & Gray has ranked in the top three in this category—and being ranked #1 for both formal and informal training. The Vault rankings are based on a survey of 17,000 U.S. associates, who evaluate firms based on factors such as job satisfaction, training and development, and diversity.
