Ropes & Gray’s Commitment to Pro Bono Honored at Annual D.C. Circuit Breakfast
Chief Judge Merrick Garland of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit spoke at the thirteenth annual “40 at 50” Judicial Pro Bono Recognition Breakfast in Washington, D.C., honoring Ropes & Gray as one of 33 law firms in the Washington area to see 40 percent of firm attorneys contribute at least 50 hours to pro bono service. This is the fifth consecutive year that the firm’s Washington office has been recognized at this event.
A National Law Journal article covering the annual event highlighted that Ropes & Gray exceeded the benchmark and was one of five firms at which 60 percent of attorneys contributed 50 or more hours to pro bono service.
