Ropes & Gray Named a Finalist in IFLR 2016 Americas Awards

International Financial Law Review (IFLR) named Ropes & Gray as a finalist in the 2016 Americas awards in two private equity and two high-yield categories.

The firm was shortlisted for “Private Equity Deal of the Year” for its role advising TPG on the acquisition of a majority stake in Cirque du Soleil, and for representing Carlyle in a 85 percent stake investment in Peruvian cash management company Hermes. Ropes & Gray was also shortlisted for “Private Equity Team of the Year.”

The firm was named a “High-Yield Deal of the Year” finalist for advising Altice on the acquisition financing of Cablevision, and was also shortlisted for “High-Yield Team of the Year.”

The winners will be announced on March 31.
