Discovering Justice Honors Ropes & Gray Senior Counsel Diane Patrick and Former Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick
Discovering Justice, a Boston-based organization that helps students develop an understanding for how the justice system works, honored Ropes & Gray senior counsel and former first lady of Massachusetts Diane Patrick and her husband, former Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, at the organization’s annual gala on May 3. The Patricks received the Champions of Justice award for their ongoing commitment to Discovering Justice’s mission of bringing civic education to children in underserved communities.
Boston office co-managing partner Newcomb Stillwell attended the gala, as did other members of the Ropes & Gray community. Ropes & Gray and Bain Capital Community Partnership were the lead sponsors of the event.
This is the second consecutive year that an individual from Ropes & Gray has been honored by Discovering Justice; in 2016, appellate & Supreme Court litigation partner Douglas Hallward-Driemeier received the Champions of Justice award with GLAD Civil Rights Project Director Mary Bonauto.
From L-R: Stacy Cowan, former Senator Mo Cowan (D-MA), Diane Patrick, Deval Patrick, Joshua Levy, Rachel Rock.
