Ropes & Gray ranked number one on The American Lawyer's 2018 "A-List," released today. This is the eighth consecutive year that the firm has been named to this key legal industry benchmark, ranking the firm among the “best of the best.”
The “A-List” recognizes the top 20 law firms in the United States by evaluating achievements in a number of key areas: firm performance, pro bono, diversity, associate satisfaction and the percentage of women in the equity partnership. This year, the firm’s female equity partners score is also the highest of all firms on the list.
Ropes & Gray’s first place ranking on the “A-List” is further recognition of the way the firm distinguishes itself through its commitment to making a difference—for the clients it serves, the communities in which it operates and its own people. It is also the latest in a string of outstanding accolades that the firm has received over the past year, including continued top rankings in Chambers; Innovative Lawyers recognition from the Financial Times; the firm’s highest-ever ranking on The American Lawyer’s 2018 Pro Bono Scorecard; and continued recognition by Law360 as a leading firm for women.
