Ropes & Gray continues to be a leader at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s Patent Trial and Appeal Board, according to data released by Docket Navigator and analyzed by Managing Intellectual Property.

Our firm was ranked second among the Petitioner Law Firms in the first half of 2020, filing 50 petitions for clients, and in the top 20 among Patent Owner Law Firms.

Among PTAB Petitioner Attorneys in the first half of 2020, IP litigation partner Scott McKeown (Washington, D.C.) was ranked first, representing clients in 53 petitions, and IP litigation partners James Davis (30 petitions) and Mark Rowland (19 petitions) (both of Silicon Valley) were ranked fourth and tenth, respectively.
