Lisa Bebchick, partner in Ropes & Gray’s litigation & enforcement practice, and co-chair of Ropes & Gray’s award-winning 600-member global Women’s Forum, has been recognized by Corporate Counsel’s 2020 Women, Influence & Power in Law Awards in the “Women’s Legal Awards – Private Practice” category. Corporate Counsel’s awards honor general counsel, in-house leaders and law firm partners who are committed to empowering women in the law.

Lisa is Chambers-ranked business and securities litigation lawyer. Her practice focuses on commercial and real estate litigation and regulatory enforcement and white collar criminal defense. She dedicates hundreds of hours each year, on top of her work as a litigator, to mentor and support women and minority lawyers, and she also serves as a hiring partner in Ropes & Gray’s 400-lawyer New York office.

Lisa is a lawyer who opens doors for other women. She is instrumental in leading the firm’s efforts – those efforts encompass formal and informal mentorship, professional development grants, speaker programs, technology initiatives – put in place pre-pandemic and which are critical, now, in a remote work environment in keeping the firm’s women lawyers connected – and by creating networking opportunities.

Ropes & Gray is consistently recognized by Chambers & Partners, The American Lawyer, The National Law Journal, Law360 and Vault as a top firm for women attorneys.
