Business restructuring partner Cristine Pirro Schwarzman has been named to American Bankruptcy Institute list of 40 Under 40 honorees. The ABI’s 40 Under 40 program recognizes insolvency professionals who are committed to the highest standards of achievement at work and in their communities.

Cristine was recognized for her work representing debtors, lenders, private equity sponsors and investors in out-of-court restructurings and chapter 11 cases. She recently advised Rubio’s Restaurants Inc., Centric Brands Inc., and VIP Cinema Seating Inc. in each of their chapter 11 cases. Additionally, she played a major role in the restructuring of TOMs Shoes, and in recent months advised numerous clients on solvency issues related to the pandemic.

The award also recognized Cristine’s leadership and service to the legal community. This year, Cristine has also been named a “Rising Star” by Private Debt Investor and a “Top U.S.A. Woman Dealmaker” by the Global M&A Network.

The winners of ABI’s 40 Under 40 program were selected by a committee of senior professionals in the bankruptcy community from a pool of more than 250 nominees based on their professional achievements and personal qualities. Honorees will be recognized at a virtual American Bankruptcy Institute event in February and profiled in the ABI Journal.
