Ropes & Gray was, again, one of the busiest legal advisers by secondaries deal count and volume in 2021 among 16 law firms surveyed by Secondaries Investor. The finding, published in the publication’s annual law firms report, provided a snapshot of the go-to firms for secondaries work.
In 2021, Ropes & Gray advised on 290 secondaries transactions valued at over $110 billion across fund recapitalizations, preferred equity deals, single-asset recapitalizations, spinouts and classic secondaries transactions. 2021 marked the fourth consecutive year that Ropes & Gray has been highly ranked in Secondaries Investor’s report.
