Ropes & Gray Honored With Five 2022 LMG Life Sciences Americas Awards
At a ceremony on September 8, Ropes & Gray was honored with five LMG Life Sciences Americas Awards for 2022.
Ropes & Gray was awarded “Government Investigations Firm of the Year,” “M&A Firm of the Year” and “Life Cycle Firm of the Year – United States.”
In addition, mergers & acquisitions partner Emily Oldshue was named “U.S. Rising Star–Financial & Corporate.”
The firm was also honored in the category of “Impact Deals of the Year” for advising Pfizer in its $11.6 billion acquisition of Biohaven Pharmaceuticals. Led by Emily Oldshue, the Biohaven transaction features the acquisition by Pfizer of Biohaven’s migraine and calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) programs, including Nurtec ODT and zavegepant, following a pre-closing spin-off of Biohaven’s non-CGRP programs into a new public company.
The LMG Life Sciences Awards honor top-ranking firms and individuals for outstanding life sciences legal work in practice areas including regulatory, intellectual property, financial and corporate, and litigation and enforcement.
