August Bruschini joined Ropes & Gray’s asset management practice group in 2022. August’s practice focuses on the formation and management of private investment funds and fund complexes. His experience includes work with the firm’s litigation and enforcement group advising a leading investment manager on its defense against an SEC enforcement action. August also maintains a robust pro bono practice advising on global conflict resolution, international human rights protections, and statecraft.
While at Harvard Law School, August participated in the Ames Moot Court Program and served as an editor and board member for the Harvard Journal on Legislation and the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy. August also interned at the New Jersey Superior Court and the United States Department of Defense, reviewing reforms to the courts martial under the Military Justice Act of 2016.
Prior to law school, August worked in the Office of the Governor of Massachusetts.
