August Bruschini joined Ropes & Gray’s asset management practice group in 2022. August’s practice focuses on the formation and management of private fund complexes. His experience includes work with the firm’s litigation and enforcement practice, advising a major private fund manager on an SEC enforcement defense, and the firm’s international pro bono practice, advising a foreign government on legal pathways to democracy.
While at Harvard Law School, August interned at the New Jersey Superior Court and the United States Department of Defense, reviewing reforms to the courts martial under the Military Justice Act of 2016. August also participated in the Ames Moot Court Program and served as an editor and board member for the Harvard Journal on Legislation and the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy.
Prior to law school, August worked in the Office of the Governor of Massachusetts.
