Yasmin is an associate in Ropes & Gray's asset management group, based in London. Yasmin trained at the firm’s London office and gained experience in the antitrust, private equity and asset management teams, whilst also completing a client secondment in M&A at Liberty Global.
Yasmin advises European and global private fund managers on the structuring, formation, and ongoing operation of alternative investment funds across a range of strategies, including private equity, real estate, venture capital and credit funds. She also works with institutional and sophisticated investors in relation to complex direct investments, co-investments, and secondaries within a number of jurisdictions.
Experience
- Nexus Point Advisors HK Limited on the structuring and fundraising of its second Greater China flagship fund, raising over $600 million in capital commitments across the fund and its related coinvestment vehicles.
- Limerston Capital LLP, a UK mid-market private equity firm, on the structuring and closing of its second fund with total commitments of £245 million and with respect to secondaries transactions in relation to its primary fund.
- A large Asian sovereign wealth fund on its global programme of investments across a range of asset classes, along with secondary investments.
- A U.S. based global private equity firm on the closing of its flagship fund with total commitments of $14 billion.
- A Swiss-based institutional investor with $185 billion under management on its investments in a variety of different funds.
- A U.S. based private equity fund in its investment in a German portfolio company in the health industry.
