Tatum Wheeler is a corporate associate at Ropes & Gray, with experience primarily in the private capital transactions and sports groups. Tatum joined Ropes & Gray in 2021, and her practice focuses on private equity mergers and acquisitions, with experience in public company and health care transactions. During her time at the firm, she completed a client secondment with a public company. Tatum is actively involved in pro bono and the firm's diversity and inclusion activities, including as a leader for the Women's Forum and First Generational Professionals Group.
During law school, Tatum was a member of the UC Irvine Law Review's all-female executive board as senior diversity and outreach editor and led the Student Bar Association as chairperson. Tatum authored articles covering sports law issues and served as the editor-in-chief for Ms. JD, and worked as a legal intern for the San Francisco Giants Baseball Club. Prior to law school, Tatum worked for a leadership development company, a law firm, and an artificial intelligence start-up.
