The Legal Marketing Association (LMA) honored Ropes & Gray as a finalist for its Impact Award for Service & Delivery Technology at the Legal Marketing Technology Conference/Midwest on June 23. The recognition is a testament to Ropes & Gray’s blue-chip “Bifurcated Time-Based Technology Assisted Investigative Reviews” model (BAT), developed by the firm’s e-discovery team.
BAT helps companies navigate discovery in a cost-effective, but also highly defensible, manner. This unique and innovative methodology, when applied in a focused and systematic manner to newer technology assisted review tools, has improved service and delivery to Ropes & Gray clients facing internal or governmental investigations or audits.
Since Ropes & Gray’s offering of BAT the firm has been recognized for its leadership and innovation in e-discovery, with Shannon Capone Kirk, the firm’s e-discovery counsel, a Chambers-ranked, recognized leader in electronic discovery law. The firm is known as an industry leader in the use of predictive coding, concept analytics and advanced technology for review and for high-level litigation.
“To be honored is a testament to the innovative methodologies and technologies we’ve implemented for clients, enabling them to navigate e-discovery in an effective, efficient manner,” Ms. Kirk said.
