In an article in Law360 Pulse, New York co-managing partner John Sorkin and real estate partner Daniel Stanco discuss Ropes & Gray's upcoming move to larger offices on Avenue of the Americas, emphasizing the firm's growth and prominence in New York.
"This office was built for a much smaller group of attorneys and support team," John said as he described the firm’s current space. He added the move will entail renovations to support a productive environment for Ropes & Gray’s attorneys, business support staff and clients.
"The reality was our current building doesn't have the spatial flexibility and future growth opportunities that we really look for. We already have more than 500 lawyers in New York, more than double the number 10 years ago," said Dan.
This move underscores Ropes & Gray's commitment to maintaining its status as a powerhouse in New York, ensuring that the firm can continue to grow and serve its clients effectively in a prime Midtown location.
