Ropes & Gray advised Cohere Capital, a Boston-based private equity firm focused on investing in technology and tech-enabled services middle market companies, in its strategic growth investment in Rockville, Maryland-based Leverege, a leading provider of AI-native software solutions based on Internet of Things (IoT) and VisionAI technology.
The completed transaction was announced in a Sept. 24 press release.
The team was led by private equity partners Christian Westra and David Hutchins and associate Brandon Winer, and included tax partner Scott Pinarchick, employment, executive compensation & benefits partner Kyle Higley, finance partner Gregory Bauer, IP transactions counsel Joshua Jackson and litigation & enforcement counsel Patrick Welsh and Alison McLaughlin.
