Ropes & Gray represented a group of secured lenders and the agent, List Government Receivables Fund, LLC, in connection with the highly contested Chapter 11 proceedings of PosiGen PBC, a national residential solar and energy efficiency provider.
As part of a global settlement to resolve disputes regarding the ownership of collateral in the Chapter 11 proceedings, List Government Receivables Fund, LLC acquired an interest in approximately 1,600 solar systems. The sale transaction closed on Friday, February 20, 2026, and the company’s reorganization plan, which provides for an orderly wind-down of the remaining business, was confirmed by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas on Monday, February 23, 2026.
The Ropes & Gray team was led by business restructuring partners Rachel Strickland and Andrew Minear, private equity partners Mike Roh and Annie Sipe and tax partner Tristan Evans-Wilent.
