Ropes & Gray represented Advent International as an investor in Saronic Technologies’ $1.75 billion Series D financing round which values the company at $9.25 billion. The investment was announced on March 31 and advances Advent’s commitment to invest up to $1 billion in next-generation defense companies.
Saronic designs and manufactures intelligent Autonomous Surface Vessels that are integrated into traditional naval and maritime fleets, enabling them to go farther and do more with less risk to life and mission.
Ropes & Gray also represented Advent in Shield AI’s Series G financing round, Advent’s initial investment toward its defense technology commitment.
