Ropes & Gray Advised PSG Equity in Final Close of Third European Fund at Over €4.4 Billion

Ropes & Gray represented PSG Equity in the final close of PSG Europe III, a growth equity fund focused on European software and technology companies, at over €4.4 billion in total committed capital. The fund closed on September 15. The fund reached its hard cap, with commitments significantly exceeding the €2.6 billion raised by its predecessor fund, PSG Europe II, which held its final close in October 2023. Investors in PSG Europe III include state pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.

PSG Equity is a growth equity firm founded in 2014 that partners with software and technology-enabled services companies. The firm has backed more than 170 companies and facilitated over 550 add-on acquisitions, operating out of offices in Boston, London, and Paris. PSG's 83-person European team, headquartered in London with an additional office in Paris, was established in 2019.

The team was led by asset management partners Debra Lussier and Jonathan Rash and counsel Young Sik Yoon, and included asset management partners Jessica Marlin and Eve Ellis, tax partners Scott Pinarchick and Andrew Howard, litigation & enforcement partner Brendan Hanifin, and employment, executive compensation & benefits partner Sharon Remmer.
