Ropes & Gray advised Advanced Micro Instruments (AMI), a leading provider of highly engineered, application-specific analyzers and sensing technologies, and portfolio company of McNally Capital, in an agreement to sell AMI to Enpro Inc. The transaction was announced in a January 3 press release

McNally Capital is a lower middle-market private equity firm targeting thesis-driven investments in the United States, specifically focused on acquiring founder and management-owned companies.

The Ropes & Gray team includes private equity partner Tim Castelli, tax partners Aaron Harsh and Tristan Evans-Wilent, employment, executive compensation & benefits partner Jennifer Cormier, real estate partner Peter Alpert, antitrust partner Chong Park, international risk partner Brendan Hanifin, litigation partner Tim Farrell, and employment, executive compensation & benefits associate Madeline Cooper.
