Ropes & Gray advised THL Partners in an agreement to sell portfolio company AMI, an AI cloud and platform management firm, to Lattice Semiconductor for $1.65 billion. The transaction was announced on May 4 and is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026.
AMI provides platform firmware and infrastructure manageability solutions for cloud and artificial intelligence applications. The company is expected to generate over $200 million in revenue in 2026.
AMI is majority owned by THL Partners, a leading middle-market private equity firm and established investor in global semiconductor and compute infrastructure.
